Clay Allen Bishop, Jr.
Senior Vice President
Allen joined Robertson Banking Company in 1987, as a management trainee. He specializes in 1-4 family residential lending, in addition to small business and consumer lending. He currently serves as a lender, Branch Administrator, and shareholder.
He earned a degree in Corporate Finance and Investment Management from the University of Alabama. He also attended the School of Banking of the South, the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University, and Trust School at Birmingham Southern.
Allen's community service activities include serving as Chairman of Christmas on the River, the Demopolis Boy Scouts of America Black Warrior Council Executive Board, Board Member for the City of Demopolis Board of Adjustment, Chairman of the Demopolis Area Chamber of Commerce, and member of the Demopolis Lions Club.
In his spare time, Allen enjoys attending Alabama Football games and reading. He and his wife, Donna are avid travelers, having visited all 50 states.
Rick joined Robertson Banking Company in 2004, as Vice President working as a consumer and commercial lender while also managing the Bank's insurance relationships. He previously worked at Community Bank in Demopolis and served as City President. Rick states, "After 22 years, I have a desire to become a better banker. Banking continues to stretch me, and gives me the opportunity to serve others."
Rick earned a degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Finance from Auburn University and is a graduate of the Alabama Banking School at the University of South Alabama, the Graduate School of Banking at LSU, and the Southeastern School of Commercial Lending at Vanderbilt.
He is actively involved with Rotary International serving as a former club President, and Assistant District Governor. He earned a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow Award for service to his community. His past civic service includes the Marengo County Historical Society Board, the Chamber of Commerce Board, Demopolis Housing Authority Board, and Chairman of Christmas on the River. He is on the Deacon Board of the First Baptist Church of Demopolis.
Rick and his wife Andrea have been married 19 years and have two athletic sons, Wesley and Ashley. Rick's recreations include golf, fishing, coaching youth athletics, and college football (especially Auburn).
In 2004, Joey joined Robertson Banking Company as Vice President serving as a consumer and small business lender specializing in agricultural and real estate lending. In 2010, he transitioned to our Tuscaloosa office as a commercial lender lending on investment and owner-occupied real estate. Prior to joining Robertson Banking Company, Joey worked at Community Bank as an Assistant Vice President and Loan Officer.
His public service includes five years on the Board of Trustees for Southern Academy. He is a past President of the Greensboro Rotary Club.
Joey earned a Bachelor's degree in Speech Communication and Public Relations from Auburn University and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at LSU, the Mid-South School of Banking in Memphis, and the Southeastern School of Commercial Lending at Vanderbilt.
Joey has two children, a son Andrew, and a daughter, Parker. He raises cattle on his ranch and is a "hot rod car" enthusiast, having restored several Corvettes.
Vice President – Business Banker
John is a career banker with nearly 40 years of banking experience. Prior to joining Robertson Banking Company, he was a Business Banker at Colonial Bank, focusing on commercial loans and deposits. In 2010, John joined Robertson Banking Company as Vice President and Business Banker for the Bank's Tuscaloosa market expansion.
John earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Livingston University and is a graduate of Alabama School of Banking at the University of South Alabama and the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.
His civic involvement includes the Tuscaloosa Chamber of Commerce, American Heart Association, and Focus on Senior Citizens, Easter Seals Society, and the Boys-Girls Club of Tuscaloosa. He is a past president of the Kiwanis Club of Tuscaloosa.
He has been married to his wife, Shirley for 29 years. He and his wife are members of Northport Church of Christ. They have two children, Zac and Kylie, and two grandchildren, Adeline and Audrey. In his spare time John enjoys Auburn Football, traveling, and walking for exercise.
Sam began working as a bank teller at Robertson Banking Company while still in college before transitioning to a management trainee after graduation. He was promoted in 2014, to loan officer working as a small business lender.
Sam is a Tuscaloosa native and University of Alabama graduate. He earned a degree in Finance with a specialization in Banking and Financial Services. Sam completed the Southeastern School of Commercial Lending at Vanderbilt.
His civic involvement includes The Exchange Club of Tuscaloosa and The Red Elephant Club of Tuscaloosa.
Sam's hobbies include hunting, fishing, and golf.
Vice President and Marketing Director
Jim began his banking career in 1992, with Commercial Bank of Demopolis. He served as Vice President and loan officer for over 12 years and gained experience in lending, marketing, purchasing, and loan review. In 2004, Jim joined Robertson Banking Company as Vice President working in the area of consumer and small business lending. He also serves as the bank's marketing director.
Jim earned a degree from the University of West Alabama and is a graduate from Alabama Banking School at the University of South Alabama and the Southeastern School of Commercial Lending at Vanderbilt.
Jim currently serves on the Demopolis City School Board. He has also been involved with the Kiwanis Club, Demopolis Chamber of Commerce Board, American Heart Association, and the Marengo County Historical Society. Jim is a member of the First Baptist Church and serves on the Deacon Board.
He has been married to Penny for over 20 years and they have one son, Heath. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, and traveling.
Amy Beshears White
Amy joined Robertson Banking Company in 1994, as the secretary to the Chairman of the Board. She later took on the role as Loan Recovery Officer for the Bank. Amy was promoted in 2013, to loan officer working as a consumer lender with business development responsibilities.
She earned her degree from the University of West Alabama and is a graduate of Alabama Banking School at the University of South Alabama and Southeastern School of Consumer Credit at Vanderbilt.
Amy's past community involvement includes the Demopolis Civitan Club, Leadership Marengo, and the Alabama Legal Secretaries Association. She has served on the Demopolis Christmas on the River Committee and as an officer of the Marengo County Chapter of the American Heart Association.
Amy has one son, Clay. They are members of the First United Methodist Church of Demopolis.
Her main hobby is watching her son play in all of his sporting events. Amy says, "I enjoy being a mom and full-time banker."
